Bicycle touring is an increasingly popular way to experience the scenery and hospitality of Nova Scotia. With great roads (most with bike lanes), rail-to-trail conversions and countless villages and small inns, bicycle touring in Nova Scotia is gaining in popularity!

The CAT makes it fast and easy to access Nova Scotia – cross in less than half the time of driving. If you wish a leisurely experience, you can arrange lodging in Yarmouth and make day trips from there. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, you can ride either the north side of the peninsula (The Evangeline Trail) or the south side (the Lighthouse Route). Both are charming and scenic.
