Cape Breton Excursion
Drive down the Lighthouse Trail from Yarmouth, then enjoy downtown Halifax for an evening. Stop off at Lunenburg or Peggy's Cove along the way to start your Nova Scotia Coastal Discovery. In Halifax, dine in one of the capital city's fine restaurants and then stroll along the waterfront. Next, it's off to Cape Breton, where the soaring cliffs meet the shining sea. The famous Cabot Trail will take you to Ingonish and the Glenghorm Beach Resort. Take a walk on the ruggedly beautiful beach, hike the Highlands National Park, golf at the Highlands Links (green fees extra) or just relax and take in the sea air. You'll spend the night at the Old Orchard Inn in Wolfville on your way back to Yarmouth.
